“The Best Idea Durham’s Had in Ten Years…”
Tuesday morning saw the announcement of Arena plans featured prominently on the Mike Parr Breakfast Show on BBC Radio Newcastle.

“Wonderful News”. An Ice Facility back in Durham.
The younger generation of today, and the future, will hopefully, now be able to enjoy all the good times at a rink, which we took for granted. “Hockey at all levels,figure, ice dance, general skating,and hockey nights with THE WASPS”

I signed up for the CDIF quite a few years ago and I will be delighted if this all comes off.
The Belmont estate was exactly where I thought it should be too with easy access to the A1 and A690.
It’ll save the drive to Billingham too and of course if the Wasps return, that would be the ICING on the cake.
Here’s hoping.
