A new survey which may help determine the fate of the former Riverside Rink building has been launched on the website of Durham’s MP – Roberta Blackman Woods.

The survey says: “The site of the old ice rink is a prime development site in the heart of our beautiful city, not the place for a huge block of flats. If the City Council planners had got their way this building would have been extremely detrimental to the setting our World Heritage Site and the City Centre in general. But now we need to know what the residents of the city want in the centre of Durham. Durham City MP Roberta Blackman-Woods wants to know what you think should be there…”
